A kilometre long circular educational trail "Wolf Trail" leads us through a piece of wilderness of the Liburnian karst which stretches from Mount Snežnik in Slovenia all the way to the Northern Velebit, Kvarner islands. Discover interesting facts about the Dinaric beech and fir forests, colourful grasslands, glaciers that transformed the surrounding landscape, a field that was once a lake, and the extinct and living carnivores of this area. Follow the markings, find the educational pyramids and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.
This path was realized through the KRASn'KRŠ project. The core of the project is the protection and valorization of the rich natural and cultural heritage of the newly established cross-border sustainable KRASn'KRŠ destination, promoting four typical karst landscape types and their heritage according to the principles of sustainable tourism.
