Čižići to Punat
The last section of the journey runs across the Island of Krk. There are plenty of gravel and paved roads, as well as single trails. The final destination is the coastal town of Punat that boasts one of the finest marinas in Croatia. The hilly interior of the island requires some effort, but it is rewarded with spectacular panoramas.
There are plenty of interesting points of cultural heritage along the way, such as little churches, stone walls and various ruins. The Stara Torklja Interpretation Center in Punat features a renovated old millhouse where visitors can explore coastal karst. The central topic is olive oil production and its intertwinement with the karst landscape.
